No. Once you pre-register your buyers through the TTP Portal, they are tied to you. It is always suggested that you get them in contact with your assigned loan officer with the preferred lender for pre-approval before going to the community to pick out a home. The lender offers many programs that allow the customer to lock in their rate before picking out a home, and can float down to the better rate should one be available.

Qualifications for registered Texas Top Producers Members to host open houses for the First Texas Family of Homes are as follows: Must be licensed for 2+ years or have done 4+ transactions in the last 12 months. These transactions must be verifiable; leases are excluded. If the Realtor does not meet the qualifications, they must attend the Open House Certification Course, hosted in our office, to receive their certification. Upon completion of the course, the Realtor must be accompanied by a registered Texas Top Producer Member, that does meet the qualifications for two open houses as a chaperon. Once feedback is received from the First Texas Homes Community Sales Representative that the Realtor is cleared to host, the Realtor will be released to host on their own.
